MAIN OBJECTIVES & FUNCTIONS:

MAIN OBJECTIVES & FUNCTIONS:
1.To provide the System Integration team leadership associated with the integration of distributed communications systems and services.
2.Ensuring company Engineering governing principles are adhered to by delivery teams to maintain consistency and a high level of technical assurance.
3.Reporting of Engineering risk/issues/progress to the Project Manager and Systems Interfaces Manager.
4.To deliver end to end network solutions, cost-effective and low-risk designs compliant with customers’ requirements, through-life design, capable of onward implementation and support by the company.
5.High level System Architect for integration matters related to Networks (WAN/LAN), Telephony/Video Conferencing, Encryption Devices, Network Management.
6.Responsible for the design, planning, implementation and technical transfer of system integration for a board technology set covering radio / wireless voice, data networks, telephony, microwave and TDM.
7.Delivery of communications solutions in accordance with established contractual obligations and company process and procedures (Design Review, Configuration Control, System Acceptance and Documentation).
8.To work closely with other business functions as part of project delivery (Customer, New Business, Project Delivery and Managed Services).


SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Accountable for the development of network design requirements, statement of requirements, scope of works, system design details and policies documents.
2. Define and review sub-contractor proposals for design, installation, commissioning and acceptance testing.
3. Ensure all design documentation is professional and of high standards and complete for technical transfer to the customer.
4. Excellent at producing technical reports, presentations and action plans. Confident to present to customers, peers and team members.
5. Identify and communicate any potential areas for improvement associated to processes, tools or ways of working.
6. Conduct team briefings as required to maintain the communications flow within the Engineering teams.


RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION (Knowledge & Experience):
1. Bachelors Degree or equivalent in an Engineering/Computer Science discipline.
2. Minimum of five years full system development lifecycle experience in network design, implementation, integration and troubleshooting.
1. Practitioner level experience in Systems Engineering e.g. ISO15288/INCOSE.
3. Technical team management experience with a proven record of success in achieving goals and targets across the whole delivery lifecycle.
4. Design Authority role experience and knowledge in the design, delivery and management of complex telecommunications systems covering radio / wireless voice and data networks.
5. Excellent at producing technical reports, presentations and action plans. Confident to present to customers, peers and team members.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects, under tight deadlines, often with competing priorities and complexities and with minimal supervision.
7. Must have a flexible approach and be able to travel throughout KSA, potentially with the minimum of notice.
8. Experience and ability to adapt communication style for different individuals / situations.
9. High levels of drive and tenacity to achieve project timings.
10. Good standard of written and spoken English.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES & FUNCTIONS:

• A full understanding of customer requirements with the aim of meeting or exceeding major milestones.
o Anticipate and be proactive to control all relevant implementation project activities and finances.
o A disciplined approach to ensure effective project planning and control.
o Ensure risks are defined, acted on, maintained and reported against.

• Regular reviews with senior staff on the progress of the implementation projects and the associated business aspects.

Assist in the delivery of the quality assurance framework, and all associated processes and systems.
To manage small to medium projects under the guidance of a Project Manager
Work with Project Manager to provide project task effort estimates and ongoing status updates.

1. Building and maintaining effective working relationships with the Project Team, and with external stakeholders.
2. Preparing and maintaining project information, including Project Initiation Document, Project Plan, interim and final reports.

Performance Monitoring Engineer - KSA

This Functional Role is responsible for the activities related to:

- Highlighting issues on Different Network levels based on the defined WLA.
- Reacting on referred TTs to performance group within maximum 2 hours from referral time.
- Escalating any High or Critical degradation to the management with the proper Comments and .
- Keeping the follow up on the received email to Ericsson performance team email account (by adding flag on the pending email or mark read on the read email and complete flag on the completed emails)
- Highlighting missing data on to OSS team by Ticket, email and phone call (if needed) to be recovered on the spot.
- Replying to FO and other teams’ email which are requesting updated performance status for site(s) or node(s).
- Sending the shift HO report at the end of the shift.

Requirments:

- Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering in Electrical /Communications or Electronics Engineering.
- 5+ Years of Related technical experience in RAN and Performance Management.
- Solid Understanding of the architecture and the functionalities of Core(CS+PS+IN) Nodes (MSCs,HLRs,MMEs,STGs,HSS,CUDB, SGSNs,GGSNs,SSR,MGWs,APN,CCN,SDPs,ESDPs) and their related Interfaces.
- Deep Knowledge of the Main Core KPIs in all the technologies (CS+PS+IN).
- Capability of Generating Reports on Different Levels (Network, NE, MO Level) with the required resolution.
- Capability of Analyzing the Degradations in the Network and proposing the needed recommendations based on the Studies.
- Good experience with Ericsson tools (OSS (Moshel) and Business Objects, ENIQ) and STC Tools (BMC Remedy RTTS and Pro-Optima) is considered an added value.
- Excellent in Dealing with Microsoft Office Packages.
- Willing to Work in 24/7 Support Rotational Shifts to adapt the work needs and the Business requirements if it’s needed.
- Familiarity with SQL Queries and Databases structures.
- Excellent in Dealing with Microsoft Office Packages.
- Fluent in English (writing and Speaking) and Knowing Arabic is considered a plus.
